"वो देती रही दुहाई...करती रही मिन्नतें...जोड़ती रही हाथ...लेकिन

सोशल साइट फेसबुक और व्हाट्स एप्प पर एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ है। इस वीडियो में कुछ लड़के प्रेमी युगल की बेरहमी से पिटाई करते नज़र आ रहे हैं। हालांकि ये कहना मुश्किल है कि लड़का-लड़की कौन हैं और इस वीडियो को कहां फिल्माया गया है? मगर वीडियो देखकर सहज ही अंदेशा लगाया जा सकता है कि वीडियो को उन्हीं आरोपी युवकों में से एक द्वारा फिल्माया गया है, जो बार-बार ये कहता सुनाई पड़ रहा है कि मनमर्जी नहीं करने दिए जाने पर वीडियो को व्हाट्स एप्प पर डाल दिया जाएगा।

वो कसम खाती रही, मिन्नतें करती रही। भगवान की दुहाई देती रही...लेकिन उन दरिंदों को उस पर जरा भी तरस नहीं आया। अपने पे्रमी को बचाने के लिए वो उसकी ढाल बनी रही, उसके ऊपर पड़ने वाले हर लात-घूंसे को वो अपने ऊपर लेती रही। पीट-पीटकर दोनों को अधमरा कर दिया। प्रेमी भी हाथ जोड़कर छोड़ने की गुहार करता रहा, मगर जैसे उनके सिर पर शैतान सवार था। रह-रहकर वो बहाने से लड़की के साथ छेड़छाड़ कर रहे थे।

बदमाश लड़कों ने इस युगल के साथ जो किया वो किया ही, साथ ही जो धमकी दी थी उसे भी पूरा कर दिया। वीडियो में लड़की के साथ जिस हैवानियत के साथ बदसलूकी और मारपीट की गई है, उसे देखकर तो इंसानियत भी शर्मसार हो जाएं। प्रेमी को पीट-पीटकर जमीन पर लिटा दिया गया, जबकि हाथ जोड़कर मिन्नतें कर रही लड़की को बदमाश लड़के लगातार पीट रहे हैं।

दिल्ली में एक महिला को ईंट मारे जाने के मामले का वीडियो बना और आरोपी सिपाही को वो सजा दी गई, जिसके बारे में कभी उसने सपने में भी नहीं सोचा होगा, लेकिन इस वीडियो को बनाया भी उन लड़कों ने ही जिन्होंने ऐसी तुच्छ हरकत को अंजाम दिया और फिर उसे सोशल साइट्स पर भी वायरल कर दिया। ऐसे में सवाल उठता है कि ऐसे हैवानों को कब और कैसे सजा मिले।

जेनीवा रॉय भारत की एकमात्र ऐसी गजल सिंगर हैं जिन्होंने गजल गायिकी के क्षेत्र में देश-विदेशों में ना केवल महारथ हासिल की.. बल्कि उनकी गजलों की एलबम ‘एहसास प्यार का’ और ’सोचते-सोचते’ को संगीत प्रेमियों की गैलिरी में पसंद और प्यार-दुलार खूब मिला। खनकदार आवाज की मल्लिका, प्रतिभा सम्पन्न और समर्पित भावना से ओतप्रोत युवा गजल गायिका जेनीवा रॉय मरहूम गजल मैस्ट्रो जगजीत सिंह की गजल गायिकी से बेहद प्रभावित हैं। शायद इसीलिए उन्होंने ढेर सारे एक्टिंग और प्लेबैक सिंगिंग के ऑफर ठुकरा कर ‘फीमेल जगजीत सिंह’ बनने का नारा बुलंद किया है। पिछले दिनों जेनीवा रॉय से उनकी नई म्यूजिक एलबम ‘संगदिल’ की म्यूजिक सिटिंग्स पर मुम्बई में मिला। यहाँ प्रस्तुत हैं उनके कैरियर और भावी योजनाओं को लेकर अंतरंग बातचीत के महत्वपूर्ण अंश।

’आपकी  गजलों की एलबम "एहसास प्यार" का  और  "सोचते-सोचते" को गजल प्रेमियों के बीच कैसा रिस्पांस मिला ?

मैं अपने आपको बहुत खुशकिस्मत मानती हूँ कि अब जब न्यू जनरेशन  की गैलेरी में म्यूजिक की शक्ल बिलकुल अलग-थलग  हो गईं है ऐसे में मेरी दोनों एलबमस को अच्छा खासा रिस्पांस म्यूजिक लवर्स में मिला और तो और मुझे गल्फ कंट्रीज में बहुत मान सन्मान मिला। कई प्रेस्टीजिस एवार्ड्स के लिये भी नॉमिनेट हुई।

’आपने तो काफी सालों से अलग अलग मिजाज की गजलों को सुना-गुना हैं... आपकी अपनी राय में गजलों में क्या विषेशता होती है?

मैंने तो हमेशा से ही देखा है कि गजलों की कॉम्पोजिशन के साथ साथ दिल को झंकृत करने वाले कलाम यानि लिरिक्स का चयन बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होता है। शायद यही वजह है कि उन गजल गायकों को सफलता नहीं मिली जिन्हें शायरी, पोएट्री की नोलॉज नहीं  है।

क्या आपने इस यूएसपी को अपनी एलबमस में अपनाया है?

यकीनन क्योंकि मैं अच्छी तरह से जानती हूँ कि गजलों की सोल (आत्मा) लफ्जों की अदायगी है वो उन्हें लोकप्रिय बनाने में कितना बड़ा पार्ट निभाती है। इसलिए मैंने अपनी दोनों एलबम्स में शायरों के चयन का विशेष ध्यान रखा है। "एहसास प्यार का" में दुबई के मशहूर शायर सैयद अब्बू वाकर मलिकी, "सोचते-सोचते" में नक्श लायलपुरी को लिया और अब मेरी नई एलबम "संगदिल" में मुन्नवर राणा और नवाब आरजू ने गजलें लिखी हैं।

आप भारत की पहली महिला गायिका है...जो फीमेल जगजीत सिंह बनने का बीड़ा उठाए हुए हैं। आखिर उसकी क्या वजह है? क्या आपकी गजल गायिकी में वो विशेषताएं है जिनके लिए उनका बिलकुल अलग मुकाम अब तक है?

जी हाँ... कुदरतन मुझ में वो सारी खूबियाँ है जिनकी वजह से जगजीत सिंह गजलों के बादशाह कहलाए। मैं ऐसा समझती हूँ कि चूँकि जगजीत सिंह मेरे रोल मॉडल उस समय से रहे। जबकि मैं उनकी गजलों से गहरी पैठ बना रही थी। उनकी गायिकी के गुण जैसे आवाज का सही मात्रा में उतार चढाव, कलाम के मर्म को समझकर लफ्जों की अदायगी, सुरों में संतुलन आदि मुझमें स्वाभाविक रूप से उतरता चला गया। इसी तारतम्य में दुबई के 'दुबई क्लब' में आयोजित ‘गजल तुम्हारी आवाज मेरी’ प्रोग्राम में जब मैंने अपने गजलों के आराध्य की गाई गजल 'अपने हाथों की लकीरों में बसा ले मुझको'....को परफॉर्म किया तो...ऑडियन्स ने मुझे किसी दूसरे फनकार की गजलें गाने ही नहीं दिया। प्रोग्राम की कुछ लिमिटेशन थी। मेरे प्रोग्राम के बाद बॉलीवुड के एक नामचीन सिंगर का परफॉर्मेन्स होना था मगर ऑडियंस की डिमांड्स पर मैं रात भर जगजीत सिंह की गायी गजलें गाती रही। दुबई बहरीन, मॉरीशस आदि देश-विदेशों में मुझे गजल सिंगर के  तौर पर बम्फर रिस्पांस मिला। बस तभी से मैंने फीमेल जगजीत सिंह बनना जिन्दगी का मकसद बना लिया।

’क्या आपको अपने रोल मॉडल से रूबरू होने का मौका मिला?

आपने मेरी दुखती रग पर हाथ रख दिया। हम साथ-साथ काम करने वाले थे। दरअसल मै उन्हें अपनी ड्रीम फिल्म ‘मेरी गजल’ में बतौर म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर साइन करना चाहती थी। मीडिया पर्सनेलिटी सतीश कँवल और मशहूर शायर-गीतकार नक्श लायलपुरी के मार्फत सब कुछ तय हो गया था। इसी बीच मैं टूर पर निकल गई। और जब इण्डिया लौटी तो खबर मिली कि जगजीत सिंह नहीं रहे।...मैं हतप्रभ रह गई और मेरा दिव्यास्वप्न चूर हो गया। खैर अब अपना मकसद पूरा करने में कोई कोर कसर नहीं रखूंगी।

’आपकी नई गजल एलबम ‘संगदिल’ के बारे में बताइये। क्या तैयारियां चल रही हैं? यह किस तरह की एलबम है?

मेरी बेहतरीन गजलों की नई एलबम ‘संगदिल’ कैरियर के पड़ाव में बहुत अहम् है। इस एलबम में आज के दौर की रोमांटिक शायरी है। अदब का खास ध्यान रखते हुए मुन्नवर राणा और नवाब आरजू ने सरल शब्दों में ह्रदय पर गहरी छाप छोड़ देने वाली गजलें कही है। जिन्हें नौशाद अली साहब ने बहुत ही उम्दा संगीतबद्ध किया है। मुझे यकीन है कि यह एलबम सबको पसंद आएगा।

सुनने में आया है कि आपने कुछ बंगाली फिल्मों में अभिनय भी किया है। तो क्या अभिनय और गायन का सफर साथ-साथ जारी रखेगी?

-हाँ.. कुछेक बंगाली फिल्मों में लीडिंग हीरोइन के रोल्स किये हैं। बहुत अच्छा रिस्पांस भी मिला है। कई बड़े ऑफर्स भी आये हैं... मगर मैंने एक्टिंग के सारे ऑफर ठुकरा दिए हैं। बतौर अभिनेत्री ‘खशबू’ मेरी आखिरी फिल्म है। मैं अब एकचित होकर गजल गायिकी पर ही काम  करुँगी।

कहानी की डिमांड हैं मेरे हाॅट सीन्स: रोजलीन खान

सेक्स बॉम्ब रोजलीन खान ने भी जैकलीन की राह को अपना लिया है। कहानीकार और निर्देशक संजीव राय की फिल्म ‘जी लेने दो एक पल’ मे दिये सेक्स सीन्स को देखकर लगता है कि आने वाले समय में वह बालीवुड की सबसे ज्यादा हाॅट हीरोइन होगीं।

हाल में उनसे हुई एक मुलाकात में रोजलीन खान से जब यह पूछा गया कि जिस तरह आप इस फिल्म में सेक्सी और हॉट सीन्स दे रही है क्या यह ओवरनाइट सफल होने का शॉर्टकट स्टंट तो नहीं है? 

इस बाबत रोजलीन खान ने कहा: "मैं कोई पब्लिसिटी स्टंट नहीं रच रही हूँ और ना ही किसी किस्म की सस्ती पब्लिसिटी में यकीन रखती  हूँ! मैंने  जो भी हॉट और सेक्सी सीन्स शूट किये  है, उनका ताल्लुक फिल्म की स्क्रिप्ट की डिमांड रही है! एक मामूली लड़की रिमी की फिल्मों में हीरोइन बनने की लालसा रखने का पूरा सफरनामा है, स्ट्रगल है। उसे अपनी छोटी-छोटी जरूरतों के लिए किन -किन रास्तों से गुजरना पड़ता है... यही मेरे किरदार रिमी की एप्रोच है।"

हॉट और सेक्सी और इंटिमेट सीन्स कर के क्या आप सनी लियोन की कैटेगरी वाली गरमा-गरम हीरोइन बनना चाहती  हैं? 

रोजलीन खान ने कहा : "हां....यदि लोग मुझे सनी लियोनी से कमपेयर करना चाहे तो यह मेरे लिए कॉम्प्लीमेंट होगा। आज जिस तरह का सिनेमा ऑडियंस पसंद कर रही है उसमें तो रेखा और स्मिता पाटिल बनना किसी भी न्यू कॉमर के लिए पॉसिबल नहीं  हैऍ जबकि....दिली....तौर पर रेखा मेरी रोल मॉडल है और मैं उसी हाइट पर जाना चाहती हूँ ।

फिल्म में आपके आपोजित नवोदित अभिनव कुमार है उनके साथ का अनुभव कैसा रहा ?

बहुत ही बढिया। उनमें टैलेंट है और सेट पर हंसी माजाक करते है। पता ही नहीं चला कि कब फिल्म पूरी हो गयी। उनके साथ काम हुए कहीं भी उनके नये का अहसास नहीं हुआ।

इस फिल्म में उनका शेखर नामक युवक का संवेदनशील, भावुक रोल है। अपनी पत्नी सुधा (सुखबीर लाम्बा) से बेतहाशा मोहब्बत करता है... मगर जब उसकी मर्दानगी को रिमी चैलेन्ज करती है, तो वो ऐसा कुछ कर गुजरता है जो उसके दाम्पत्य जीवन को  हिला कर रख देता है। यही से कहानी नया मोड लेती है। मेरे कैरेक्टर में विबिध  शेड्स है.यूँ तो मैंने बॉलीवुड में कई फिल्मों में अलग -अलग किरदार किये हैं.

Chandigarh,  May 11th Monday 2015 (Kulbir Singh Kalsi):-  Thousands of people in India lose their lives because they can't reach hospitals in time when they are in a critical condition or when ambulance itself met with an accident. Today this happened at sector 40-41 light point at around 9 pm when a motorcyclist met with accident with Punjab Health Dept Ambulance and kept lying on road inspite of having hundreds of Chandigarh police Gypsy and Ambulance not reached at spot for long time. finally another Punjab ambulance reached there took but the victims at hospital with availability of single police officer on the spot.

International film festival to open with Punjabi movie ‘Qissa Panjab’ in Toronto on 14 May

Produced by Pukhraj Production House of Annu Bains from Chandigarh, ‘Qissa Panjab’ to be the curtain raiser to north America’s biggest International Film Festival for South Asia IFFSA/PIFF

Chandigarh,  May 9th Saturday 2015 (Kulbir Singh Kalsi):-   The newest Punjabi movie, “Qissa Panjab” shall be the opening film at North America’s biggest International Film Festival for South Asia, IFFSA/PIFF at Toronto, Canada, on 14^th of May.

According to IFFSA/PIFF founder and President, Sunny Gill, the trailer of the film has already excited the audience in Toronto and this film is bound to further raise the bar of Punjabi cinema.

"We are thrilled to kick off Punjabi International Film Festival - PIFF 2015 which is part of IFFSA (International Film Festival of South Asia) with the screening of  Qissa Panjab, and host both the producr Annu Bains and Director Jatinder Mauhar at the festival,” he added.

Producer Annu Bains felt this to be a great honour that the organizers have thought of featuring Qissa Panjab as the opening film at Toronto.  “I do hope the audience gives it a thumbs up as its been made with lot of sincerity” she said. 

Jatinder Mauhar who has given two powerful yet entertaining Panjabi movies “Mitti” and “Sarsa”, later renamed as“Sikandar”, felt proud that Qissa Panjab has been chosen to kick start this international film festival.  

Qissa Panjab is an entertaining feature film that revolves around six characters fighting their circumstances  and whose lives take a significant turn when their stories intercross each other.

Based on the age old saying ‘Triumph of good over evil’, Maharakshak Aryan is a finite fiction thriller in which the good is represented by Aryan (played by Aakarshan Singh) and the bad by Triloki -the ultimate embodiment of evil, essayed by the talented Vikramjeet Virk. Triloki is trapped in the centre of the earth under various layers, surrounded by molten lava. He wants to rule the world but the only way he can do so is by reclaiming the MANI, which is the ultimate source of energy available in the world. So to procure the MANI, Triloki sends his super villains – Vishkanya, played by the svelte Reshmi Ghosh, Challa played by the popular Mishal Raheja, and Kumbha played by acclaimed actor Deepak Bhatia amongst others to defeat the protector, Aryan. The show will see super hero Aryan fighting out a new villain every week.
