Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management organised a BLOOD DONATION CAMP in association with Department of Transfusion Medicine PGI Chandigarh on 4th March 2011. Keeping the tradition for the last so many years the Camp was sponsored by STATE BANK OF INDIA SEC 42 BRANCH.
Sh. Pradip Ray Deputy General Manager and CDO SBI Chandigarh Circle, was the Chief Guest on the occasion and inaugurated the Camp. Sh. T K Berry Regional Manager, State Bank of India was also the Guest of Honor .
Mr Ray appreciated the efforts put in by the students towards this noble cause of blood donation.
The Blood Donation Camp is a part of the social activities organized by the Institute from time to time. This is to inculcate the habit of social work and make students aware of the importance of Blood Donation.
105 students and staff of the Institute and Hotel Chandigarh Beckons donated blood on the occasion.
