Little Champs from Punjab will lead the Cricket Teams in Mohali

Young talented children from Punjab are all excited to meet their favourite stars at the match being held in Mohali today. The little champions will hold the hands of their favorite cricketers lead them to the ground and sing national anthem. While the children are excited about the day, their parents feel equally privileged.
The selection of kids is a part of ‘Lead 11 campaign’, an unparalleled initiative embarked by LG Electronics India. The “Lead 11” contest that started on January 15, 2011 will go on till March 15, 2011. Amongst 885 kids, between the age group of 8-12 years, several children are being selected through a lucky draw. The selected frontrunners are escorting the cricket teams to the stadium in various places, singing the National Anthem in chorus with the Cricket stars.
The Lead 11 campaign, with an investment of more than Rs.10 crore, is aimed to woo the Indian consumers and boost national cricket spirit by acknowledging the young talent and presenting “India’s future Star” on a Global Platform. LG roped in Mandira Bedi, the famous T.V. star to announce the campaign in Kolkata in February.
Talking about the Lead XI initiative, Mr. L.K Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer, LGEIL, said “This is a fourth edition of Lead 11 campaign and more than 1000 kids are participating who would lead the Indian cricket team to the ground. The singing of National anthem by these young ambassadors along with the cricket teams creates an aura of national pride & unity”.
