A 5 members team of the Hubli Dharwad Municipal Corporation, visited MC, Chandigarh today alongwith the Chairman of various standing committees. There purpose to visit the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh is to study about the best projects of MCC.
Mr. Ravinder Pal Singh, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh has welcomed the delegation and the delegation was briefed about the projects and working of Municipal Corporation by the concerned officers. Mrs. Sheela Devi, Deputy Mayor, Mr. Lalit Siwach, Additional Commissioner cum Secretary, Mr. Kamlesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner, Mr. Mukesh Anand, S.E. B&R Circle, other councilors and officers of MCC were also present on the occasion. Mr. Ravinder Pal Singh briefed about the new initiatives taken by the Municipal Corporation and the departments transferred to Municipal Corporation under the 74 amendment.
The members were including Mr. Vijayanand S.Shetty, Mr. Hajaratali Doddamani, Mr. Satish Hanagal, Mr. Laxman Gandagalekar, Mrs. Rasoobi Jammagi etc.
