IGP CHANDIGARH ALONG WITH OTHER SENIOR POLICE OFFICIALS ADDRESSING MEDIA PERSONS AT A CLOSE NET PRESS CONFERENCE

Chandigarh Police solves Crime Cases in a Flash 
Chandigarh, Sanjay Pahwa :- Chandigarh Police made all right moves to solve crime cases in a flash. IG Pardip Shrivastav & SSP Naunihal Singh addressed the conference at Police Headquarters after solving cases. DIG Ghuman, SP Traffic & Security H.S. Doon, DSP Satbir Singh & DSP Jaswant Khaira were also present at the conference.
DETAILS OF FEW INCIDENCES 
  Few days ago, there was a spurt of theft and burglary incidents increasing in the area of Chandigarh. To curb the crime, Chandigarh Police strengthen the PCR and laid down the special strategies for nakas to arrest the culprits and to eradicate the crime.
                        On 25.2.2011, at about 11:00 PM, a message was flashed by control room regarding snatching of money and cycle near village Khuda Lahora. Due to the presence of mind and alertness of the complainant Sh. Banwari Lal S/O Ram Sumer R/O # 162, Janta Colony, Naya Garoan, Distt. Mohali, Punjab and the staff of PCR vehicle Echo-09 deputed near bridge Khuda Lahora, the accused person namely Pardeep Kumar was apprehended and handed over to EO/PS-11. In this regard a case FIR No. 56 dated 25.2.2011 U/S 382, 34 IPC PS-11 has been registered.
                        On 26.2.2011, at about 10:30 PM a message was flashed by control room regarding snatching of mobile by two young boys on motorcycle bearing registration No. CHO4L-9889 and fled away. On this, the staff of PCR vehicle Echo-28 took prompt action and apprehended one of the snatcher namely Vineet R/O Sec.-7, Chandigarh at APL Chowk and handed over to the EO/PS-19. In this regard a case FIR No. 40 dated 26.2.2011 U/S 379, 356, 411 IPC PS-19 has been registered.
                        On 27.2.2011, a message was flashed by control room that a maruti car bearing registration no. HRO3B-8665 has been stolen from Ind. Area, PH-1 and to round up. On this, the staff of PCR vehicle Echo-32 saw the same car near Pepsi Turn near Hallomajra. The staff acting promptly rounded up the said stolen car alongwith two accused persons immediately and informed the control room. The said car and the accused persons were handed over to EQ/PS-IA and in this regard a case FIR No. 41/11 U/S 379,411, 34 IPC has been registered.
                        On 26.02.2011, after receiving tip off, the joint team of PS-31 and PCR laid by SI Ajinder Singh and ASI Harinder Singh along with other Police officials laid down a Naka near Sector-31, on secret information nabbed two persons namely Pintu Kumar S/o Ashok Kumar R/o 588-B Sector-32-A Chandigarh aged 19 years and Daleep Kumar S/o Suresh R/o # 586-B Sector-32 Chandigarh age about 22 years and recovered Mobile, which was snatched from Sanjay Kumar R/O # 1200 ‘K’ Block Colony No. 5 few days back.  A Case U/S 356, 379, 411, 34 IPC has been registered in P.S. 31, Chandigarh.
