The final day of the 9th Chandigarh State Golf Championship 2010-11

Sh. JS Cheema President CGA with With Prize Winners.

Chandigarh : Sanjay Pahwa : On the final day of the 9th Chandigarh State Golf Championship 2010-11 organized by Chandigarh Golf Association, 77 golfers teed off.

In open category Abhijit Chadha with a score of 144 was declared the winner and collected the Championship running Trophy. Ankur Yadav, due to better back nine score was the Runners up and Jagteshwar Singh 2nd Runners up with a score of 158.

Open category Ladies, Rabiya Gill took the Championship Running Tropy with a score of 158. Jaipreet Ghuman was second with a score of 159. Pauline JM Singh the was 2nd Runners up with a score of 165.

In category A Tarundeep Chadha with a score of 146 was the winner and Paramjeet Yadav with a score of 160 finished 1st Runners up and Prabhdeep Ghai claimed the 2nd Runners up position with 162 strokes.

In category B Harsh Gangwar with with a score of 155 was declared the winner and Firoz Garewal on 158 finished 1st Runners up and Jairaj Sandhu secured the 2nd Runners up position with 164 strokes.

In category C, Adil Bir Singh was winner with a score of 157 and Karandeep Kochhar finished 1st Runners up with 158 followed by Jaiveer Snadhu in the 2nd Runners up position with a score of 166.

In category Under 14 year Girls Ashi Jain, was the winner with a score of 191 with Vasundhra Thiara was 1st Runners up with a score of 208 followed by Ashmeet Saini 2nd Runners up with a score of 229.

In category D Aadil Bedi at 163 was declared the winner followed by Chinmaya Mahajan at 187 and Simarjeet Chadha also at 187 finished as 2nd Runners up.

Sh. JS Cheema President, Chandigarh Golf Association was the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes.

To mark the 10th Year of CGA Golf Range “CGA Role of Honour 2010” and “CGA Award of Excellence” to junior golfers was instituted.
