Jethalal is gifting Daya a 100 grams REAL gold biscuit for Women’s Day
Since women are so fond of gold, Jethalaal has decided to gift his wife Daya a 100 grams (10 Tola) Gold biscuit to make her happy. “Naturally Daya is going to love it. In any case, she loves everything that is given to her by her husband. She is a smart but simple housewife,” comments Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal of Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
However the problem came when the producer Asit Kumarr Modi decided to bring in a real 100 gram gold biscuit on location to get the authentic look in the show. Entire unit was on tenterhooks trying to keep it safe and sound. Laughs Asit Kumarr Modi, “Womens day is the day to celebrate the spirit of womanhood, and on this special occasion Hit Couple of Tarak Mehta Ka ooltah Chashmah serial Jethalal gifts Daya a gold biscuit. Women love gold and what can be a better gift. To shoot this special episode I brought a real gold biscuit to make it more genuine. Since this biscuit weighs 100 grams and as gold prices are very high we have a special team who is taking care of that gold biscuit so it won’t get lost, but this biscuit had made everybody very nervous."
Unit wallahs are facing added security headache because the scene requires Daya to roam around with this real gold biscuit asking everybody about its owner. She is not aware that Jetha has brought it for her only and had hidden it away to give her on the D- Day.
