Bharatiya Janta Party Chandigarh today celebrated 32nd Foundation Day and organized Foundation Day Functions in most of the Mandals of city unit. The programmes were attended by huge number of party activists and sweets were distributed among them. The senior leaders of party discussed the aims, objectives & future plans of the party and the journey from 1980 to 2011.

While addressing the Foundation Day programme in Sector 21, Party President Sh. Sanjay Tandon said that the party was founded 31 years ago with the motive of clean politics in our nation. The ‘party with a difference’ was the motto of the founders and due to its ideology it spread in every nook and corner of country within a very short span of time. The aim of party is to provide a democratic set-up in country in which all the countrymen are given equal opportunities irrespective of caste, creed, age, color, gender and their rights are protected. He said several party activists devoted their life for the cause of party. We should also follow the path shown by our great leaders and work to spread the ideology of Bharatiya Janata Party in all the sections of society.
