Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said that Mr. Badal also gave nod to allow red beckon atop on the private vehicles of the Rajya Sabha members from Punjab as already allowed to the members of the Lok Sabha. Mr. Badal cleared these files as per the proposals mooted by the Transport Minister late last evening.
Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal gave approval to name the Bus Stand Majitha after the great statesman, reformer and founder of the Chief Khalsa Diwan Society Sardar Sunder Singh Majithia in accordance with the resolution adopted unanimously by the Nagar Council Majitha.
