Chandigarh, Sanjay Pahwa :
Bharatiya Janata Party Colony Cell today supported the Chain Hunger Strike of Bapudham residents and took the responsibility of agitation and assured that this agitation would be concluded with the victory of the public.
Bharatiya Janata Party Colony Cell President Dalip Sharma said that a group of 15 activists under the leadership of former Union Minister Sh.Harmohan Dhawan sat on Hunger Strike including Smt. Sarita Sharma, Dalip Sharma, Salim Khan, Naushad Ali, Sajid, Mewaram, Vinay Dubey, former Deputy Mayor Shyama Negi, Santosh Bhatt, Rajesh Pehalwan, Ashok Gupta, Balbir Singh, Neena Soni and Sh. Sham Lal.
Former Union Minister Sh. Harmohan Dhawan said the Chandigarh Administration is harassing the residents of city. The labour welfare building made for the residents of Bapu Dham Colony is illegally occupied by Chandigarh Police and ITBP. The residents of various villages are being harassed by the Administration on the name of Lal Dora. The poor people have invested their earning of whole life in these houses and the Administration is hell-bent upon to demolish these houses. Local Member Parliament Pawan Kumar Bansal have nothing to do with the problems of general public as he himself is indicted in Booth Allotment scam.
