Presents Latest Products from 24 Companies to chill your summers
Successfully entering the 14th Edition, COOLEX 2011, CII’s exclusive exposition on air conditioning and refrigeration was today inaugurated by Mr S C Agrawal , Chief Secretary, Government of Punjab at the Himachal Bhawan, Sector 28.

Appreciating the show, Mr Aggarwal said, the show is timed perfectly and presents a host of the latest ‘cool’ options in refrigeration and air conditioning to counter the soaring mercury. Evincing a lot of interest in the product range displayed at the Fair, Mr Aggarwal suggested that companies should come up with offers to exchange other less star rated products with 5 star rated ones which are more energy efficient and help conserve the environment
Detailing on the exposition, Mr Sameer Goel, Vice Chairman – CII Chandigarh Council &Delivery Manager, Infosys Technologies Ltd said that successfully organized annually since 1998, this is the 14th edition of the show. The continued organization of the Fair for fourteen successive years is a testimony to the fact that CII’s Coolex represents value to industry and consumers as an established platform to generate exposure for contemporary technology, showcase the latest product offerings and gear up the local industry for competition, added Mr Goel
Ms Charu Mathur, Regional Director, CII, while talking about the enthusiasm expressed by the exhibitors towards Coolex said that with each passing year, the exhibition is growing bigger and better, with more companies participating and offering their niche products. This year 24 companies against 16 in the previous edition participated spreading over to 830 sqm as against 451 sqm in the previous edition. A wooving 172 sqm has been occupied by 7 new exhibitors.
Canbara Industries, G E Appliance, Motherson Climate Systems, Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt Ltd, Mistubishi Heavy Industries Ltd, Sharp Business System India Ltd, Videocon Industries are new exhibitors amongst other brands which include Godrej, Voltas, Onida & Videocon; Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Panasonic; Carrier; G E Appliance, Whirlpool; LG & Samsung
70 new models of A/Cs are being launched by Voltas at Coolex 2011 , which also includes India ’s 1st Airconditioner priced under Rs 10,000 from Voltas . Other attractions include Side by Side & French doors Refrigerators above 650 L for large sized families from G E Appliance and Cassette & Floor Standing A/Cs

The exhibition which features interactive product demonstrations & wide product ranges from various companies is on till 11 April 2011 from 10 AM to 8 PM
